Prior to joining Wieland Capital, Franck Godet was an Investment Banking Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of BNP Paribas in Paris. He was previously with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB), Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and Paribas in Paris and London.

During his ten years in Investment Banking, Franck Godet advised corporate and private equity clients on a number of M&A transactions with a total volume well in excess of 30 billion Euro in various industries across Europe, with a focus on France, including Mining and Metals, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace & Defence, Telecom Equipment, IT and Support Services.

He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale, in Paris, and is a Certified Financial Analyst with the French Society of Financial Analysts (SFAF). He regularly teaches Corporate Finance classes for the Association of Certified International Investment Analysts (ACIIA) and contributes to writing Corporate Finance books and articles.

Franck Godet is also manager-shareholder of a family business in France.
